“Normy” founded Skater’s Edge in 1987 and has built the store from the ground up. Building his reputation on customer service and elite skate sharpening, he was quickly able to expand his business into hockey retail which in turn has morphed into other sports such as baseball, soccer, lacrosse and all the other sports in between.
An “old school” operator, Norm excels at building relationships with customers and although Skater’s Edge has grown into an expansive operation, everyone who deals with Norm comes away with the feeling that he has treated them like the ultimate VIP. Whether it’s staying open late or coming in early for a customer, Norm’s dedication to Skater’s Edge and its customers knows no boundaries.
“Matty Z” is easily one of Skater’s Edge’s most dedicated staff members. If you’re at the store, chances are – so is Matt! Matt has been at Skater’s Edge for close to 7 years and has firmly established himself as the go-to-guy for many of our customers.
